FOLD First Edition is a series of 20 individually numbered lamps.

Made in brushed stainless steel. Five of them (4, 8, 12, 16 and 20) carry a bold laser-engraved pattern.

FOLD explores the quiet moment of revelation, when an unnoticed detail opens up a new perspective.

Each lamp begins as a single sheet of steel, laser-cut and folded into form. How it was made stays on the surface, readable to anyone who looks closely.

FOLD invites curiosity, and serves as a gentle reminder of our own capacity to create.

THE STORY BEHIND FOLD

FOLD began with a desire to make design feel open.

For me, some of the most inspiring objects are the ones that allow you to understand how they came to exist. When the material, construction and idea are visible, design feels less distant and more like an invitation to create something yourself.

The linear pendant became the starting point because of its familiarity. It is a form used by designers everywhere, but FOLD strips it back to something remarkably simple: a sheet of steel, carefully folded to create structure, function and light.

There is no attempt to disguise how it is made. The folds remain visible. The construction becomes the detail. The material becomes the finish.

FOLD was designed not only to illuminate a space, but to make the process of design visible, and perhaps inspire someone else to make something of their own.
